How to get to Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort & Spa?

There are 2 regional airline carriers that will take you to Koh Samui to go to Koh Pha-ngan at the moment this is Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways coming from Bangkok or to any regional airports in Thailand that flies directly to Samui Airport. This is the 1st step for you to get to Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort & Spa since this is the only closest airport to reach Koh Pha-ngan.

Once you arrived in Koh Samui Santhiya guests ambassadors welcome’s you at the airport and from Samui Airport will take you by Santhiya Van in approximately 10 minutes to Petcharat Pier. The Petcharat Pier, which nearby the Punnpreeda Hip Resort is where Santhiya private speedboat transfer is waiting to take you for a 30 minutes boat ride to Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort & Spa.

Please highly take note that we have only 3 daily scheduled trips by Santhiya Speedboat to Koh Pha-ngan from Samui which are 10:30, 13:30 and 17:00 for morning and afternoon estimated time of departure respectively. Please ask reservation for the most updated list of fees for sea transfers by Santhiya speedboat on daily trips and private transfers (12 pax max.). Speedboat operation may sometimes be disrupted due to adverse weather conditions. An option to arrange trips by public sea transport will be available upon guests request’s such as Seatran/ Lomprayah catamaran details will be provided upon booking. Where is Santhiya Koh Phangan Resort & Spa?

Is the resort suitable for family with small children?

It is recommendable for family with kids between 2-12 years old children and we have Grand Villa which will be perfect for a vacationing family of 4-6 persons however since we only have 4 villas for these room category availability may also be limited or will depend on what season your visit will fall.  We also alternatively recommend our other villa categories such as Santhiya Hideaway Pool Villa Suite, Santhiya Sea View Pool Villa Suite and Santhiya Sea View Pool Villa Suite Plus all of these villas feature’s a separate private pool, a bedroom which has a small corridor that leads to a living room which can be a day bed. Upon request, we can also turn this living room into mini kid’s bedroom since this part of the villa actually is a small Thai house connected to the main bedroom to become living room. This will definitely provide more privacy for couples and for there kids to enjoy as well. Also as part of our full room service, a babysitter or nanny can also be hired at a minimal fee with flexible schedules for daytime, nighttime and/or after midnight.

Do you have a money changer at the resort? Or do we need to have our money’s change to baht before going there?

Yes! We do have our own money changer at the resort which is located at the front desk or the cashier.

 

What activities do you offer at the resort?

Aside from regular Traditional Thai dance performances every week which highlights the very essence of Thai culture at Santhiya’s very own Chantara while having dinner.

We also offer several outdoor and water activities which includes everything from trail running and hiking to kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, swimming, and windsurfing. Adventurous souls will enjoy exploring the surrounding beaches and scuba diving with certified PADI instructors.

Shopping-Sightseeing Activities, for peeking at local living, take a walk into the charming village where you can find small keepsakes and souvenirs to commemorate your visit to Pha-ngan Island.

Elephant Trekking in Koh Pha-Ngan can also be an enjoyable experience a leisurely stroll upon the back of a rocking Thai elephant is a rare experience. Discover the fun in meeting these majestic gentlemen in the forests while it takes you exploring through the jungles of Koh Phangan.

Do you have interconnected rooms/villas?

At the moment we don’t offer interconnected room/villa accommodations. Alternatively, we do have Grand Villa which offers 2 bedrooms this villa features 2 floors and garden view. And Royal Grand Villa with more generous personal space and private pool with panoramic sea view.

 

How far is the beach area or swimming pool from the rooms/villas?

The farthest would be 100 meters the golf buggies and Santhiya wooden car which you can call anytime over the phone will take you anywhere and anytime you want to go to the beach or pool area.

 

What is the concept of Santhiya design as a resort & spa?

Santhiya’s core concept is preservation and promotion of luxury eco-tourism, first-class accommodations, pristine locale, surrounding communities, Thai culture, and heritage culminate as one to provide a traditional, historical and architectural inspiration for the resort.

 

What is the weather condition in Koh Pha-ngan for most parts of the year?

For your weather information, mostly enjoys a beautiful weather from January to December. It may sometimes rain during November and December but it doesn’t rain all the time during the rainy season. In fact, on most days you will see some sunshine. It is hot even when cloudy, and you can still be sunburnt if it is overcast.

Light, loose cotton clothing is best. Nylon should be avoided. Sweaters are needed during cool season evenings or if visiting a mountainous area or national parks. Jackets and ties are required in a few restaurants and nightclubs. Neat clothes are required for entering temples or sacred places around Koh Pha-ngan.
