RESORT LOCATION AND TRANSFER

Situated on Koh Chang, the second largest island in Thailand, only about 300 km. east of Bangkok. Santhiya Koh Chang Resort is located on a fine sandy beach at Klong Prao on the western shores of the island. The closest airport is Trat Airport, with daily connections to Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport via a 45-minute Bangkok Airways flight.

Santhiya Koh Chang Resort is 25 minutes away from Ao Tarn Khu pier (Trat) by our speedboat. Start your getaway with picturesque scenery coupled with the fresh sea air in your very own speedboat transfer. The Santhiya Launch whisks you away from Ao Tarn Khu Pier across the sea right to the resort’s private pier. Transfers are available upon your requests.

Important Notes

Please make your transfer reservation at least 3 days in advance of your check-in date (or at the time of booking). Contact: treekohchang@santhiya.com.

  • Our transfer service will be scheduled according to your informed flight details.
  • Shuttle Van between Trat Airport and the pier takes about 15 minutes (traffic dependent). Speedboat to/from the resort takes about 25 minutes (weather dependent).
  • The Join Shuttle Van + Join Speedboat price includes the land transfer to/from Trat Airport only.
  • For Join Speedboat Only, please arrive at Ao Tarn Khu (Ao Tarn Khu Pier ) at least 30 minutes before departure; services are on time and subject to weather conditions.
  • For emergency assistance, please call +66 (0) 3961 9040.
  • According to the times of high and low tide, the speedboat will be directed to drop off passengers at the beachfront. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Access:
The drive from Bangkok to Ao Thammachart Pier at Laem Ngop, Trat Province, takes 4 to 5 hours. From there, a 30-minute ferry will transport guests to Ao Sapparos Pier at Koh Chang.
